Big 12 and uconn talks are over no agreement.

Couple things stood out: True Freshman Sultan Badmus getting 39 snaps and Ashton Allen getting the most snaps out of the receivers.

Kyle do you have the PFF ratings? Faminu looked to get pushed into the backfield at times and got beat bad several times as well. Siani seemed to get beat bad several times as well. Not sure if those are isolated instances and wondering how they were rated. Do you think Faminu gets another start sat?

Does anyone know how much money temple will receive for this game?

Redshirt senior defensive end Diwun Black could miss up to the first four weeks of the season due to an academic issue, we've been told by multiple sources. Those sources also indicated to us that a successful appeal to the NCAA could cut it from four weeks to two weeks, but I'll never profess to know or predict how quickly the NCAA will respond to the appeal.

Ian Stewart, unfortunately, will be out for the year after sustaining a quad tear. Another tough turn for a respected player on the roster, one who missed most of the past two seasons due to injuries, including a stress reaction in his foot that occurred during pregame warmups at Rutgers last season.

There is a front page article on Dylan King but somehow I don't have access to it.

Just saw article that uconn spent 100,000 last year for football through NIL. This year it's up to 1 to 1.25 million.

Statistically the worst defense in the nation with only 4 takeaways. I can’t remember a temple team where we were the worst in the nation with takeaways and turnover margin of -18.

If he’s back in 2024 I’m done with this team.

Chris Vannini is reporting that uconn will join the B12 with the announcement coming next week. The Big 12 has year left on it's tv contract. The new contract with fox and espn in 2025 will pay each school 37.1 million per year. Basketball will join first then football at the end of the new contract about seven years.

I have been a season ticket holder for TU football and an Owl Club member and financial supporter for many years. I graduated from Temple in 1970, yes I am going on 77 years of age. I came very close to not renewing my football season tickets this year, but my wife and friends who utilize my four seats convinced me to give it one more year. My reason for frustration with Temple athletics are obvious - extremely poor performance on the football field and the basketball court; lack of support from both the student body and alumni; an athletic office that seems two steps behind the rest of the conference. Add to this things beyond Temple's control like the NIL and the transfer portal makes the outlook poor. Support from the Owlclub and the athletic office are very lacking. At one point I had a great Account Rep (Dave Leach), Dave was deservedly promoted. I have heard from my new rep twice in a year and a half. I have cut my donations by 80% as there is no return on investment. As much as I am sorry to say, the current situation in not sustainable. Perhaps its time to put energies and monies to other endevours. Even getting paid for tickets is a challenge. The electronic ticketing system is not made for someone my age!

Looks like South Carolina transfer Grayson Mains is the favorite to start at center. Drayton said it's "his job to lose" when I asked him about the position.

Are games done on local radio - 97.5 (football) and 1210 (basketball)? I don’t listen to much traditional radio these days but occasionally would still put them on if in the car.

Just saw a preseason ranking for all 134 fbs school. Boise st is the highest rank G5 team at 29 ( menphis 31) can you imagine if this was the final poll and Boise st when to the CFP. The p4's would have a fit.
