Single game tickets (Nice Job Owl Club!!!)

Figured I'd take a look at what's still available for the Temple v Cow College game, now that the single tickets have been made available to the general public.

Per Ticket Master, the best available is section 202 (40ish Yard Line, visitors) row 13. No availability of anything in the lower bowl or the club level. I've gotta think a fair amount of those tickets went to Temple people.

Nice work outta us!

Daron Russell

Imhotep and Team Final point guard Daron Russell (2017 class) told me his offer list now includes the following programs: Temple, VCU, La Salle, Penn, Delaware, Hartford and Binghamton. I'd imagine more will be on the way after the way he played during the July live period.

When I asked him if Temple was still in the mix with his recruitment, he said, "Definitely."

This was all via text. We'll probably catch up some time soon over the next several weeks for an interview.

MVPs

On the eve of training camp, whom do you think will be our offensive and defensive mvps for this season.

I see senior leadership being a key to this year's success. I like linemen Kyle Friend and Matt Ioannidis to be considered our most valuable players on each side of the ball. There are certainly bigger names and players with the stats to dazzle, but I think that these two will be critical whenever they are on the field and will play in such a way as to help their teammates around them.

100% complete turn around

2 1/2 years ago when Coach Rhule took over this program it was a mess due to the fact the idiot coach ( and I say that lightly ) before him used Temple as a springboard for his own agenda.

Year one we had a defense that didn't have the speed to play at this level and the players were still trying to figure out what coach Snow was trying to accomplish. The offense had talent but was in progress of changing over from a run every down offense to a pro spread offense, which was new to everyone and was bound to have hiccups. It showed flashes of what it could be and at times was pretty explosive. The players fought to the very end in what was a disappointing year.

Year two , going into the season there was a lot of expectation for the offense to carry the team but as we all know the coach Rhule did a masterful job of bringing in players to fill the weaknesses we had on defense and the players bought into coach Snow's philosophy and all of a sudden we had a defense that was one of the best in the country and still young but our offense took two steps back for a bunch of reasons.

Year three it looks like coach Rhule has gone out and recruited players to make this offense be what we all thought it could be last year and at the same time added depth on defense. My personal belief looking this roster is this team will be able to play with any team in the country and is gonna make waves nationally and could very well become a topic as Boise St. did 3-4 years ago.

Defense we are loaded in all areas , Wr we finally have depth and a number of play makers up and down the roster. Running back we have more depth and talent than I can remember. Te there is good depth and solid talent there also. Offensive Line is better than some might think and as long as they stay healthy and we don't lose Mr. Dawkins will be solid. Which brings me to one question and actually the one area Coach Rhule hasn't addressed to much since he got here which is QB an area where I believe he is working on as we speak in this class , especially since i read that we were going in a different direction than Cole Johnson , who I thought was a pretty good looking QB from what I saw.

This team has a chance to run the table and be 13-0 going into the bowl season.

Sammy Foreman..

Can anyone tell me where the point guard from MLK signed? I know he does not have the talent of Carr but the young man does win and has shown true heart on the floor. He did also carry much..baggage..but I did believe under the right guidance he could have been an asset in the years to come..
