Can someone explain the bowl picture? What bowls are canceled? How can bowls have teams with sub-500 records? According to Yahoo, Wisconsin, Penn State, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky and Minnesota are all slated for bowls with Arkansas getting in with 3-7 record. I've got to believe there are more worthy teams out there.

Carey did disclose that defensive tackle Dan Archibong has decided to turn pro and enter the NFL Draft, saying that Archibong is "going to be a (single) digit forever here." And with Ifeanyi Maijeh announcing his intention to enter the transfer portal, Carey was asked about depth along the defensive line. He spoke highly of defensive tackle Khris Banks.

Will Rodgers has committed to Temple as a grad transfer from Washington State. Rodgers started 19 games for Washington State and finished his PAC-12 career with eight sacks and 14 TFL.

Here’s our latest on Balansama Kamara, who plans on signing with Temple on Dec. 16. The 2-star outside linebacker is a local product from Central High School.

Here's our story on David Nwaogwugwu, who is finding his role on Temple's offensive line. After making two starts at right tackle (vs. UCF & ECU) he allowed just three pressures over 146 snaps.

GT WR Ahmarean Brown entered the transfer portal. Maybe we can consider him "the player to be named later" in the Geoff Collins debacle should we land the kid.

SEC teams will see a huge money increase from this move....

Per his twitter, Temple has offered Tallahassee CC guard Tariq Silver.

Silver played one season at Eastern Michigan before going the JUCO route. This season, he's averaging 11.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, two assists and .9 steals per game. Impressively, Silver is shooting 47.3 percent from 3-point range this season off of 5.4 attempts per game.

Silver's other bounceback offers include Loyola-Marymount, Arkansas State, Siena, Coastal Carolina and Troy.

Due to new CDC guidelines, Temple returned to practice last Friday, OwlScoop.com has learned. Temple is also close to an agreement that would have the Owls host the NJIT Highlanders on December 19.
