Who are you Guys ?

I went to almost all the games last year (missed Houston, and Tulane) and was roaming a lot of tailgates. I met a lot of good people and had a blast at every game. I may even have spoken to some of you from this forum but if I did I had no clue. This may be ultra corny but what would you guys think of some sort of identifier at the tailgates, nametag, button or something. There's a lot of you that I would love to hoist a cold one with (and a couple I wouldn't...kidding).

Forgot tickets...

My buddy just got to philly, we have 15 of us (all temple) going to the game tomorrow. Unfortunately, he just realized he left his 4 tickets in New York. He has the account number from when he bought the tickets through temple, will they be able to reprint them at the gate tomorrow? We are debating if it's worth driving all the way back to get them, figured you all might have the answer

SOLD OUT

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University's season opening football game against Penn State to be held at Lincoln Financial Field this Saturday (Sept. 5) is officially sold out, announced Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft.

"I would like to thank the Temple fans for their support," said Kraft. "To sell this game out speaks volumes to the energy and excitement surrounding the Temple Football program."

This marks the second time the Owls have sold out Lincoln Financial Field since the stadium opened in 2003. The previous sellout was on November 10, 2007, also against Penn State.

Season Ticket Holder Alert!

Fellow Owls, Please be aware and don't make the dumb mistake I made. In getting ready for our victory over the Nits tomorrow, I separated the Penn State game tix from the pack and inadvertently left the bar code portion of the ticket on the package. There is a perforation right above the bar code, so its easy to leave the bar code on the package. Luckily, my child bride of 45 years (I'm class of 1970!), noticed and eagerly pointed out my stupidity! Go Owls, beat the NITS!!

The Scoop

Episode 1 of The Scoop is up on the site now. Kyle will be on with us during the next episode, and we'll likely condense it to be a lot shorter. We still have a few kinks to work out and Jamie Gray would like to add some music tracks in there, but we'll keep the conversation going and hope you enjoy it.

We got a few good mail bag questions this week so keep them coming. Enjoy the game tomorrow and maybe I'll run into some of you at the game tomorrow.

The Scoop podcast is back!

We're reviving The Scoop, a podcast we did several years ago, and we'll be recording our first episode today. Once we get everything up and running, we'll hopefully be on iTune or TuneIn.

Each podcast will have conversation about the usual stuff - football, basketball and recruiting, along with in-season preview and matchup talk. Jamie Gray, one of our new interns, will be on board with us to facilitate the conversation.

Each week, we'll feature a mailbag segment in which we answer your questions, so feel free to post them here and we'll also advertise this on Twitter as well.

There's obviously a lot to talk about this week between the kickoff of the football season and a couple of prominent basketball recruits being on campus recently in Alani Moore and Sedee Keita. We hope to have the podcast posted first on the site later this week, so stay tuned.
