We mentioned back on April 15 that Chris Clark is leaving his video coordinator position at Temple to join Drexel's staff as an assistant coach.
As for his replacement, the two names I've heard from several sources are Luis Guzman, a current graduate manager and former Owls point guard; and Bobby Jordan, a former Drexel assistant who was not retained by new Dragons coach Zach Spiker.
Jordan is an intriguing candidate. He played at Roman Catholic in high school, then at Drexel and remained on with the Dragons as an operations assistant. He got bumped up to a bench spot when Ashley Howard left for Xavier.
In the video coordinator spot, you can't leave campus to recruit, but you can talk to recruits when they're in the building, and Jordan could be an asset and fresh perspective there because he has recruiting ties to Philadelphia and the East Coast.
Guzman very much wants to pursue a career in college coaching as well. He's in grad school at Temple and has ties to the Playaz Basketball AAU team. He'll be entering his second year as founder and tournament coordinator of the Washington Heights Invitational tournament in the Bronx.
