Another legacy recruit...

2016 6'8" wing Solly Stansbury, son of Terrence Stansbury, is looking to play college ball in America after playing 3 years in Europe. Stansbury is 21 years old who originally played his high school ball in Toms River, which means he may have to sit out his first year of college. It's a very unorthodox situation. He's visited both Michigan and Cincinnati. There is no reason at all why he shouldn't be wearing cherry. Temple's been in contact. We're looking at you Aaron McKie.

New recruiting notes

-According to Todderick Hunt of NJ.com, Temple is in Olakunle Fatukasi's top list of schools. Fatukasi was at Matt Rhule's camp in late May and landed an offer during that visit. He told Hunt that he'll make a return visit to TU at some point in June or July.

Here's the full video interview from Hunt - http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/i...ar_lb_target_olakunle_fatukasi_talks_rut.html

-Temple extended an offer to 2020 Trinity Christian Academy High School (Deltona, Fla.) athlete Jordan Jackson on Monday, according to his Twitter page. The Owls are the first school to offer Jackson.

Here's Jackson's highlight tape - Login to view embedded media
-Temple also offered 2018 Haverford (Pa.) LB/WR Jordan Mosley on Monday. The Owls are Mosley's first offer.

Size matters

My son's team is playing in a tournament at Iona today. His 6'11" twin teammates (not TU worthy) are away visiting Brown and West Point, so Z is the only big on the team. They are playing Union Catholic, with the big TU is targeting.
I am working the US Open, so I am not there. My wife texted me a photo of Z next to him. Wow. Will find out from Z if kid has game. Will post photo if i can figure out how

Two visitors

Temple hosted 2017 Freehold Township (NJ) High School safety Anthony Lotti for an unofficial visit on Monday. He picked up an offer from TU after camping on 10th and Diamond on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend.

Lotti had this to say on the visit: "It went great, really liked all the coaches and all of the facilities. The campus is very nice and I really like the direction that Temple football is headed."

Temple also brought in 2017 Montour (Pa.) lineman Mason Cholewa on Wednesday for a visit. Cholewa holds offers from Temple, Old Dominion, Stony Brook, Bowling Green, Youngstown State, Kent State, UCF, Iowa State, UConn, and Robert Morris.

April live period

According to Brian Flinn of Future 150, Larry Brown has been at all of Daron Russell's games over the weekend. Russell plays for the Nike-backed Team Final on the AAU circuit.

As we've mentioned before, it's unclear if Temple wants to take Russell. The Owls signed 5-9 point guard Alani Moore in November and seem hesitant to add another guard below 6-foot.

Temple head coach Fran Dunphy got a look at Russell, along with high priority 2017 guard Lonnie Walker, on Saturday.

While at the Nike EYBL event, Dunphy also watched the New York Lightning, presumably for 2017 Saint Raymond's (NY) wing Sidney Wilson. The Owls offered Wilson last week. As we previously reported, Dunphy went to Wilson at his school earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Dunphy and two other staff members were spotted in Brooklyn at the Under Armour Assocation event. They were watching the PSA Cardinals, who boast a loaded roster that includes major Temple targets such as Mo Bamba, Brandon Randolph and Quade Green.

Flinn also reported on Saturday that Dunphy was watching Sports U/ Union Catholic (NJ) big man Jordan Pierce. Sports U is the same program that produced current Temple guard Josh Brown, as well as former standout Quenton DeCosey. Pierce is still waiting on an offer from Temple.

Temple also checked out 2017 big Malik Williams, a 7-foot center out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Williams was playing at the Spring Showdown by Elevate Hoops in Staten Island. Williams is being recruited by a variety of high majors, including Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana and NC State.

Temple in top 5 for 3* MI LB/DE

This was out a week ago and didn't see it on here yet. 3* LB/DE Bryce Brand, who is leaving Michigan to play his senior year at IMG in FL put Temple in his top 5 with Arizona, Maryland, Miss State and Southern Miss. Brand also has offers from Louisville, Air Force, Bowling Green, Miami OH, FAU, and Toledo. His brother is a freshman QB at Air Force.
