Found this article in the Patriot News. An interesting read if you have the time. Chambers is setting himself and Penn State up to by a force in the local area in terms of recruiting. It's hard to imagine Dunphy in his mid 60's doing anything to change this.

I know some people will say that we aren't really focused on the Philly kids anymore, or the Philly kids want to go away for school but it's still disheartening that we are losing so many of these kids.

Anyone know what former Chambers assistant, and former Bonner Coach Brian Daly is doing? Maybe we try and get him on the staff.

In St. Pete Beach and it's unbelievably awesome. Spent last night hanging out at the Tiki bar teaching 10 of my family members T for Temple U, we got a lot of funny looks. Is there a lot at Raymond James where the Temple crowd is congregating for tailgating? We have 11 people in a van, we'll have a pop up tent with a Temple flag a flyin'.

Just watched his HUDL video and the kid is a stud. Could be a WR or TE if he bulks up, or a LB or a DE if he bulks up.

Not sure what level of ball Dunbar plays in Baltimore, but he looks very athletic.

Football-wise, former Eagles WR Calvin Williams and Rams WR Tavon Austin both went there.

Basketball-wise, the list includes Muggsy Bogues, Sam Cassell, Kurk Lee, Reggie Williams, Reggie Lewis, David Wingate, Skip Wise, Keith Booth, Terry Dozier.

Tupac Shakur also went to Dunbar.

Saw a number of White Shirts on the sideline for the Notre Dame game! Are we to assume that these are our current "redshirts" as I saw several "upperclassmen" in said jerseys at the ND game? Do we have an official redshirt list for this year at this point in the season? For one, I saw Jim Cooper in a white jersey on the sidelines! Any word or info on this? Thanks!

Anyone have any suggestions for watching the game tomorrow night in the Olde City Philly area? Cant just be any sports bar though, I will be on an anniversary date with my wife. Due to the 8-1 record, she understands the need to watch the game but the rule is we have to watch it at a place with a good atmosphere, good food and beer so she doesn't feel like she spent her anniversary celebration in a hole. Any suggestions? If not Olde City, what about Center City in general?

As we have seen with football, performance in the OOC portion of AAC team schedules is critical to the respectability of the conference, SOS, rankings, and media attention.

The lack of respect for the AAC in basketball showed with the NCAA selection committee on Selection Sunday last year.

Let's root for all of our AAC brethren in their OOC schedules, and hope the conference can garner the national respect we know it deserves.

Offers from Air Force, Army, Bowling Green, Buffalo, UConn, Louisville, Maryland, Navy, Ohio U, Toledo, West Virginia, WMU, Cornell, and apparently, Temple. His final 5 is Temple, Maryland, West Virginia, Bowling Green, and Ohio U. He was previously committed to Maryland. He is announcing on Nov. 11th.
