Chambers

PSU lost last night at home to Radford 84-72 after losing to Duquesne in Pittsburgh Tuesday 78-52. They have not improved at all over the Ed Dechellis years and appear headed to another bottom dwelling finish in the Big10.
What are the odds Chambers gets dumped at the end of this season despite his good recruiting class for next season ? I wonder what the Mike Watkins ineligibility plays in PSU admin thinking ?
And if Chambers goes, then do his recruits get released from their LOIs such that Owls get involved ?

mea culpa

I apologize for doubting the defense today. It helped that Paxton Lynch hurt his leg in the opening quarter, limiting his mobility and his ability to throw long. Credit the offense for showing up despite some questionable play-calling. Excited for next week. Hopefully, UConn played their game of the year vs Houston, becoming bowl eligible, and won't be up for us.

Looking for Coaches???

I'm probably missing a few but all these schools are in the market for
a new head coach.

Syracuse
Maryland
South Carolina
Miami
Central Florida
Tulane
Missouri
Illinois
and maybe
Boston College
LSU
Georgia
Rutgers

That's a lot of jobs. Matt should wait till the smoke clears in a few years

Never hear mention of the Navy coach who has by far the best record of the
younger guys

GO OWLS..........!!!!!!Beat UCONN!!!

Potential glitch to our NY6 appearance

Right now, Toledo is ranked ahead of us in the CFB poll. If N. Illinois wins their game, they will win the western division of the MAC and Toledo will be ineligible for a NY6 bowl, but if N. Illinois loses to Ohio and Toledo wins, they can win the MAC Championship. Right now, Navy is the only AAC team ranked ahead of them. If Navy wins out, it's a no brainer. If Navy loses to Houston and we defeat the Cougars in the championship game, will that be enough to overtake the Rockets? If we beat Navy, I think it certainly will catapult us over Toledo.
Let's beat UConn first! Go Owls!!!

Shizz

I watched Shizz play a lot in high school and the progress he has made at the point guard position in such a short amount of time with the staff has been nothing short of a miracle. Believe me, he is 100x better in college running a team than he was running his team in high school. I like his size, his poise at this level and his ability to get to the basket. And his passing has been really good so far as well. I thought he would come in right away and score, but never thought we would see his point guard skills so early, if ever. Will be interesting to see next year when Moore gets here what happens, might be tough to win the point guard job from this kid.

Count me in with the people who are disappointed in the recruiting and especially the lack of tournament success, but Dunphy can develop guards. I think we have our next great one here. Lowe is also really impressive.
