Amid all the jubilation of winning the AAC East, and believe me, I'm on Cloud 9, unfortunately, I have to be negative.

There is absolutely no way there were 28,000-plus fans at the Linc last night. Impossible. They may have sold 28,000-plus seats, but there were not 28,000 people in the stadium last night.

And that's sad. A chance to go to 10-2, win the East Division and make the AAC title game, and that's the turnout? Disgraceful.

He can recruit, I'll give him that, but IMO, he's shady in the same vein as John Calipari or Rick Pitino or any other snake-oil salesman.

I often browse the offers list for the football team on the front page of OWLSCOOP under the dropdown titled FB Recruiting. I came across this kid receiving a Temple offer and us being his only college choice. He's 5-8, 175 RB from Boyd Anderson H.S. in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., Broward County, near Miami.

Anyone know anything about him or if he's really a commit?

Anyone know if they are pals? Played against each other in high school? Elizabeth is only 15 miles from East Orange. Was just curious.

Both games are next Saturday at noon. Right now, both are listed as ABC/ESPN. It will be interesting to see which game is chosen to be on ABC.

The kid is a flat-out stud. A great playmaker, smart, heady. Makes great decisions on punts. A tough tackler, getting so much better in coverage. He's a star in the making. Seems like an old soul. Mature. Cerebral. In the mold of Kevin Ross and Anthony Young, IMO.

I am sorry fellas but this is surreal. If some way, some how we win next week we are playing in the Peach or Fiesta Bowl. I, like most of you am a Temple grad and have been a fan for almost 40 years. This is just ridiculous, if it's a dream, don't wake me up.

4* DE/DT Adam McLean, who signed with Maryland as part of the 2015 class is taking an OV to Temple this weekend. McLean had some eligibility issues, and is no longer enrolled at Maryland. He is looking to enroll in January, and there is a good chance he goes elsewhere if Mike Locksley is not retained by Maryland. He also took an OV to Auburn.

McLean had offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, FSU, MSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, PSU, Pitt, Rutgers, Texas, and many more.

Temple tickets office closed until Monday, REALLY!!

Ticketmaster is out of tickets ? Who knows but try to buy a ticket game day, almost impossible.

Glad the DE/LB from Milford Academy, by way of Piscataway H.S. in north Jersey, gave us a verbal again. Great looking pass rusher. Guess he'll be a mid-season recruit who can come to spring camp.
