EJ Warner et al

Warner is a keeper. He makes good decisions and he throws an accurate ball. He just needs to mature and get stronger. I would rather have a guy who knows what he's doing but needs to mature than have a guy who is fully matured but has no clue.

The rest of the guys are playing hard. We just need a bit more talent on the field.

It will come but losing all of those players over the last couple of years will take a few years to replace.

I'm bullish on where the program is going. Its just going to take some time.

Mathis ????

Is he with the team or is he sitting in his safe place because he was replaced ? Kids handle adversity differently but I sort of knew he wasn’t going to handle this well. His teammates had to calm him down when he was replaced in the Lafayette game. It was clearly about him and not the team. I hope he comes around .

Lots of good stuff this week from Adam in analyzing E.J. Warner's debut in Temple's 30-14 over Lafayette, including a detailed breakdown of his two touchdown passes. And Adam also has a scouting report on Penn Trafford defensive end and quarterback Conlan Greene, one of Temple's 16 verbals from the 2023 class.
