You might have seen this on Facebook (or heard it on the Broad Street Dummies podcast!) but the Cherry Crusade, Temple's student run athletics fan club, is raising money to create a gigantic Tifo for the ND game. They are about a quarter of their way to their goal of $2,000 bucks and could really use our help. Seeing as how most if not all of us have jobs, and dropped $99 bucks to have access to these forums, I think most of us can afford to help these kids out a bit, so they can do something awesome for Temple Football!

Not sure what a Tifo is? Think "rollouts" used at the Big 5 basketball games, only 1000 times bigger and better. They are popular in European soccer and have started to make their way over to the States as well.

This attached files in the link show the addition of the new athletic fields at William Penn HS site to the master plan, zoning change for EO, and construction proposal for the new library. It's interesting to look at and try to read between the lines and angles.

I successfully upgraded my seats from the upper level to center court row L, woot woot!

I asked Eddie,who took care of my request,about tix to the UNC game at Navy. He said Temple has sold its allotment and to try Navy. My guess is that it is up to the secondary market now, with 100% markups. Anyone going?

Not that it matters all too much at this point for us, but some of our former targets are committing today. Breein Tyree is likely to choose Ole Miss, while the package deal of Jarreau and Gresham will be deciding between UMass and Miami. Shamorie Ponds will be announcing tomorrow.

Temple reportedly offered a second QB from California, this time 2016 recruit Montel Aaron from suburban Sacramento. Aaron has offers from San Diego State, Nevada, San Jose State, UNLV, and a few FCS schools. Colorado, Arizona, ASU, and Utah have interest, and have been in to watch him throw. NR on Rivals. 3* on TOS. Was a 3* on 247, but they dropped him to a 2* for some reason.

He had 1 yard on 1 carry today for Jacksonville. He now has 5 yards on 4 carries for the season. It would be nice if they would give him a little more of a chance.
