I didn't see them on the sideline in the first half, but I certainly could have missed them.

Cincinnati, NC State, Pitt, Miami, VaTech, not exactly an elite bunch. Another miss on a local talent. The recruiting struggle continue.

Matt Rhule and Phil Snow vs Urban Meyer. Outcome is super predictable. Win by 3-4 TDs.

Attendance is likely to fall off quite a bit for this week's game against Wagner. Rod is making enough coin that he may be able to entice some folks to come to the game and to belly up to the bar.

What is it with Rutgers? Attempted murders, shooting incidents, Jackie Jr got taken out. Chris Long could have been something, he could have been an Owl.

It is completely obvious our kickoff team can not contain or limit a runback of significant yardage. The 67 yard kickoff return on the first play of the game put our Defense in a bad situation. Our poor field position and short field doomed us to being down 7 points within the first couple minutes of the game.

Here's a thought. Why not kick off out of bounds??? From what I understand the receiving team then gets the ball at their 35 yard line, Right?

HC Carey has no interest in developing an effective kickoff team so let's at least not continue to hurt our D with poor field position.

A fish rots from the head down. If the staff lacks mental toughness, it will show from players too.

Is he serious? His team just gets blown out and he has the audacity to even waste a minute of airtime on penalties. Maybe in a close game, you complain about penalties. Maybe. Otherwise, a joke.

As expected the Rutgers game was moved in order to get a primetime slot on the Big Ten Network. Temple will also have traditional national games against Boston College and Cincinnati during the first half of the season.

Gentlemen -

This young man is making both smart and good plays. He isn't forcing anything and he isn't wishing any throws either.

He looks in charge.

Let's see what happens in the weeks to come but he has a chance to be pretty good I think.

Same day as our home opener vs. Boston College. Fanfest is held in the Xfinity parking lot from 1 pm to 5 pm. I've never been so I have no idea about crowd size but it sounds like they draw a large crowd. Phillies are on the road that day.
