Thanks so much!

Roster updates

Adam Klein, we're told, made the trip, but it sounds as of now like he won't play. Still don't have a definitive word on James Faminu. Richard Rodriguez, we're told, did not make the trip. He was the victim of a car accident earlier this week and is doing OK, but Wisdom Quarshie is going to start at center.

Adonicas Sanders did make the trip, but I don't see him as of yet warming up.

Welcome to Wrexham

Is anyone else watching it on Hulu? Serious Temple vibes for this club. Like everything from the stadium to money to leadership goes wrong. For 30 years. They used to play like 2-3 leagues up and now they can’t even f*cking beat Tulsa football or East Carolina basketball reliably. And the supporters keep coming. There’s a group of 50 core supporters on this show that would lay it all on the line for the club. They won’t stop believing. Just for that one moment. The one final 4. Or NYD bowl game. Our whole lives. For that one moment. An undying belief that one day, they’ll move up to the next league. That’s us!

Numbers that tell the tale

84, 48 , 300, 22. Temple 84 rush yards making the freshman QB throw 48 times. Tulsa rushes for 300 yards and thank goodness their QB only had to throw it 22 times and twice to us. It isn’t the magic of play calling or something the coaching staff can do to offset incredible mediocrity on that side of the ball. They all
play hard but just not going to score enough points until the Calvary arrives . I see improvement but they are just outmanned .

The Scoop: Season 8, Episode 12

We'll tell you why Temple should beat Tulsa, and Stan Drayton talked about how right tackle Victor Stoffel could improve the Owls' offensive line and why the team continues to run the ball when backup QB Quincy Patterson is under center, despite limited success.
