The stars aligned this week. All eyes from across the nation will be on North Broad with Gameday potentially coming to Philly. With the Eagles on a bye week, all the talk locally will be Temple football. Every time I have been in the car this weekend, WIP or the Fanatic have been discussing our football program.

This week will be nothing short of amazing. Soak it in. ENJOY EVERY SECOND / EVERY MOMENT OF THIS WEEK. Show your pride and revel in the fact your team is finally on college football's biggest stage. Lets show the country how incredible this University is.

I could not be more to be a Temple Owl right now. Oh and by the way, this defense can play with anyone. Lets just keep this game close going into the 4th quarter and steal it at the end. So far, that has been the story of the season.

I'm trying to make tailgating plans with the rest of the entourage for Saturday night's game. Does anyone know what time the lots are opening Saturday? We usually park in the front Jetro lot. I'm assuming Jetro would open around the same time as Lot K.

Does anybody know how far the xfinity hotspot wifi extends throughout the parking lots? We are planning to bring a TV and streaming ESPN (and horse racing)and having a kick ass tailgate before the game. We usually park in the wholesale food distributor (jetro?) parking lot but not sure if wifi extends to that lot. Has anyone used it to stream tv outside the stadium? Never done it outside the stadiums so anyone with knowledge, ideas or insight into how well this will work is much appreciated.

Temple - 32. Notre Dame - 14. I do not see our stout defense giving up many points on Saturday. I do, however, see our defense, as well special teams, putting points on the board. Go Owls!

The 97.5 morning show stated that they will broadcasting live from main campus on Friday.

I know you're all focused on the game but figured I'd pass this along. Looks like Marc Narducci of The Inquirer finally got somebody from Temple to provide on the record specifics about the proposed football stadium.

This morning, I treated myself to 23 pages of griping on the other board. Cap was the sole voice of sanity and reason. Very classy, Cap!

These were the 7 schools in the Big East for football in 2004, Temple's final year in the conference before they were excised to an uncertain future.

Their offense looked very good on the road last night at Tulsa last night . This will be a tough game to win at home . Both defenses looked terrible last night.

2-6 in their last 8 including the lucky win at Virginia this year. Get off to a good start and the pressure is on them!

Build it and they will come. I have been a Temple football fan since 1980, my dad graduated from Temple, I graduated from Temple and my son is now a sophomore attending Temple. For the last 35 years I've listened to every coach that took over and each one, without exception said we are building something here and although they tried nothing ever materialized.

Now we are on the precipice of the biggest week and the biggest game in the history of Temple football. We will be on the national stage playing on network TV in a sold out stadium, we are nationally ranked, the team is 7-0. Enjoy and savor every minute of this, it has been a long time coming. Gentlemen the day has finally arrived, we have built something.
