Tobiason

Temple recruit Aidan Tobiason scored 30 points leading undefeated #2 ranked St Elizabeth High School , Wilmington,DE to an upset over #1 ranked Salesianium High School 84-77.
Spoke to a friend, a 17 year high school coaching veteran, who attended the game. Having coached and witnessed several DI players he told me Tobiason is the real deal. I have not yet seen Tobiason play but will do so soon. It will be interesting to see how he matches up to recent Delaware players Cooney (Syracuse), Divencenio (Villanova &NBA) and Hyland (VCU&NBA).

Five-star WBB recruit announces decision date

Declan Landis, Rymir Vaughn and Johnny Zawislak made the trip to Burlington to watch Kiyomi McMiller, who would be a transformational recruit for Diane Richardson if she chooses the Owls next month.

New WRs coach

Per FootballScoop, Temple is set to hire Grambling State WR coach Tyron Carrier to replace Jafar Williams, who Temple let go earlier this week.

Carrier was previously the WRs coach at Houston and West Virginia. Carrier, a Houston native, was named FootballScoop's Wide Receivers Coach of the Year in 2018 after West Virginia had three receivers combine for 2,602 receiving yards.

You’re welcome.

After I win a record powerball jackpot this evening I will be donating a $50M gift to the TUFF fund. Money will be allocated toward NIL partnerships with small and large businesses, and funds directly for distribution to players to secure top talent so we can win a national championship within 3 years. The funds will come with stipulations, such as a clear strategy and execution plan that will need to be voted on by an independent board of directors each year.
We will become unstoppable. Happy days will be here again. We will become a blue blood program with aspirations of winning a title every 5 years.

Its not all bad.

We all know the players we lost but have to be positive with this current recruiting class. 23 players coming in and really added depth to a levels if the defensive side of the ball.

Adding size and depth along the d line was the biggest need in my opinion to go along a DE/OLB from Maryland filled holes and added much needed depth.

They added safties and corners that much like on the d line you have mix of transfers and high school kids that fill needs add depth with good size and dome versatility.

I like they got some size at LB from the portal that a good chance of contributing right away.

Hopefully they get coached up cus to be honest they were so bad that only thing to do is go up.

On offense they added size especially at guard and depth along o line. I hope a couple of freshman from last year team gets in weight room and get stronger and you might have the makings of a d1 caliber unit.

QB is still a ? And work in progress.
I like our WR I think they developing nicely and hope St.Joe product gains size and strength into sophomore year.

I think our rb become better as the o line gets better so work in progress.

And obviously I hope for good health and no major injuries, 5 wins out of question for coming up season?

As always, I'll update this as the offseason progresses. Couple of notes...
  1. The transfer window opens December 4. You'll likely see players announce that they intend to enter the transfer portal prior to that date but most will happen on or after December 4. The first transfer window closes quicker this year, as anybody that wants to transfer prior to the summer has to inform their school by January 2.
  2. As of right now, I'm going to keep all the sixth-year guys on this table until they announce that they're not coming back next year. That includes guys like Jordan Magee, Yvandy Rigby, Edward Saydee, Victor Stoffel and Wisdom Quarshie, all of whom could be back next year or could decide to leave North Broad Street.

11/28 - Removed EJ Warner after he announced his intention to enter the transfer portal.
12/1 - Removed Davion Hood after he announced his intention to enter the portal.
12/2 - Removed Edward Saydee after he announced his intention to enter the portal.
12/16 - Removed Jordan Magee after he declared for the NFL Draft.
12/19 - Removed Yvandy Rigby after he declared for the NFL Draft.
12/20 - Removed Kamar Wilcoxson, Brenyen Scott, Chris Van Eekeren, Muheem McCargo and Alex Odom after the updated official roster removed them. Also removed Richard Dandridge after he entered the portal.
12/27 - Removed Jalen McMurray after he announced he was entering the portal.
12/31 - Removed Victor Stoffel after he announced he was entering the portal.
1/4 - Removed Dominick Hill after he announced he was entering the portal.
1/11 - Removed Darvon Hubbard after he announced he was entering the portal.
1/16 - Removed Bryce Thoman and Jermaine Donaldson after they announced they were entering the portal.
4/5 - Removed Clifton McDowell and Zamar Grove after they announced they were entering the portal.
4/15 - Spring ball is over and the inevitable departures have started. Removed Kaleb Barnett, Gensley Auguste and Corey Yeoman.
4/16 - Removed Daiyaan Hawkins and Sam Martin.
4/17 - Removed Corey Palmer.
4/18 - Removed Jason Moore, Kyle Williams and Chevez Trask.
4/19 - Removed Joseph Appiah Darkwa.
4/24 - Removed Zyheem Coleman-Frazier after he was removed from the roster.
