Jalen Warley

Hes been getting a lot of write ups and offers of late due to his excellent play and has mentioned temple consistently when asked about schools recruiting him. Already has been on campus. Has a close relationship with Monte Ross. 2021 will be an opportunity for Mckie to bring in some top talent

The Hard Truth

I had a restless night, waking up 4-5 times, with the score staring me in the face. I can only imagine how our players are feeling.

Many of us were worried that the brutal beat downs we suffered at the hands of SMU and UCF revealed a fundamental weakness in our game. Fast, strong, well coached teams, with versatile quarterbacks took us apart. My hope was that we’d play out of our minds and rattle Howell. That, along with an offensive game plan that would operate with maximum efficiency - not with fits and starts. Those of us who bleed cheery and white must have worried about this worst case scenario but hoped that preparation, execution and good fortune would keep us in the game with a chance to win at the end.

Well, the worst happened. We must confront the reality of a team that has a way to go before we can ask for more than luck to win big games. Coach Carey must feel like shit but owns not the loss as much as the complete dissemblement of our team in front of a national audience.

Name that score

It's that time again to predict the score of the TU-UNC match up. Temple's bowl history against the ACC is not good, but this is the first time we will have the same head coach and all of our players participating. UNC's QB is a dual-threat, first-team, freshman All-American. If our great defense shows up, we win this game 24-21. If we allow him to run wild, UNC could win by double digits.
We need Russo to be accurate, the receivers to catch the ball, Davis to allow us to control the clock, and our defense to pressure their QB and keep him in the pocket. If we do all that, in this perfect scenario, Temple romps 34-17.

AAC Non-Conference So Far

We are about 2 weeks into the season (so plenty of b-ball to be played) but the AAC is not off to a great start. No wins of note and some bad losses. See below:

Ranked Opponents:
#14 Oregon over Memphis
#18 Ohio State over Cincy

Power Conference Opponents:
BC over USF
Miami over UCF
BYU over Houston (Not sure BYU falls here but they are a name team)

Bad losses:
UT Arlington over Tulsa
St. Joes over Uconn
IUPUI over USF
App State and Navy over ECU

Military Bowl Tickets missing

Did everyone get their tickets via email Friday? I did not. I received the email the day before. That said you should get your tickets by noon. And if not, call the Temple ticket office. So I just tried to call the ticket office and email people over there. And now they're closed for the holidays?

Just curious if anyone else is having the same issue or has any ideas or thoughts?

Regardless of this being my problem, I don't know how you close down early Monday when you have a bowl game in 4 days. If it wasn't me having an issue, it would be someone else. It pretty much assures that Friday is going to be a cluster F if you don't have people available today, tomorrow, Thursday, to solve problems that now... are going to all fall on you Friday morning. For a noon game. Temple could be fixing all these problems ahead of the game.

Anyone out there that's worked through this and has ideas would be helpful.
