I, for one, am fired up! Owls getting some early love with the books today, saw the line move from -2.5 to -4 now.

Monmouth is led by 6'7" guard, Abdi Bashir, who had 20 points on 22 shots in a 24 point loss to Michigan State earlier this week.

Lets GO Owls...and never forget, "What Trenton Makes...The World Takes".

Watched the final 12 minutes last night and was both underwhelmed by Villanova's roster and impressed with Columbia's coaching and the team's resolve down the stretch. Looks like it will be another year of discontent for Cats' fans and a warming seat for Neptune. Also, anyone else notice that pre-season #1, AAC squad, UAB got beaten at home by Vermont the other night? Going to be a crazy year.

Nice start for Jamal Mashburn, Jr. in the Cherry & White. Twenty Six points, but better yet his court sense seems very steady.
I know it is only game one, and Sacred Heart is not a top 100 program, but I liked what I saw this game.

Plus these Owls hit free throws when it counted down the stretch. Overall a good win to start the season.

South Florida coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, who led the Bulls to the American Athletic Conference’s regular-season championship a year ago, has died. He was 43.

Temple police Officer Christopher Fitgerald was tragically murdered near campus in 2023. His family was just awarded a home by Tunnels2Towers foundation. A great tribute for a fallen Owl. This organization does wonderful work and if you can give, I would encourage you to do so. They do great work.

Temple announces suspensions of Lynn Greer III, assistant Chris Clark

The St. Joe's transfer guard, as well as Temple's longtime assistant coach, will miss time due to NCAA violations.

Lynn Greer III and Chris Clark would both return prior to the Dec. 15 game at Hofstra.

When I spoke with Jamal Mashburn Jr. earlier this week, he noted early on that he would be playing more point guard.

Temple guard Lynn Greer III to miss first nine games of the season due to NCAA rules violation while attending previous institution, assistant coach Chris Clark suspended until 12/11/2024 for providing impermissible benefits to student-athletes, per Temple news release.
