Going into the last weekend of the regular season, it appears that several major conferences will not meet their bowl obligations. The SEC has at least 10 bowl commitments, but assuming Georgia/ Alabama and LSU are in the CFP, they only have 8 eligibile teams. The Big 12: 6 for 7, the ACC: 7 for 11 (could be 9 for 11 if both BC and UNC win their last games, the Big 10: 7 for 9 unless Mich St. wins, PAC12: 7 for 6, but could be 9 for 6 if both Oregon St. and Colorado win.
So it looks like their will be openings for G6 teams to play in better bowl games.
Right now, Temple is projected to play in the Cure vs Georgia St. (College Footbal News), Frisco vs So. Miss. (Bleacher report), Boca Raton vs W. Mich (Athlon), and Military vs Louisville (ESPN) or Indiana (Yahoo).
The good news is that we're going bowling regardless of where! Stay tuned
