And I got David Martin-Robinson yesterday for about 10 minutes, so we'll have that interview for you, too.

We're taking questions until 2 p.m. today.

Thanks so much for listening and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

OT: Mike Jensen Leaving the Inquirer

Since he seems to be the last primary college writer left at the Inquirer (and has had many stories and opinions on Temple), figured this was news.

Temple Drexel Game Thread

I don't know what to think of this game. Drexel is looking for respect 1st year in the Big 5 and would love a win vs Temple - but nobody else seems to care about the Big 5 anymore. DAC should be very loud and i gotta imagine the players come out w intensity.

Dragons have a very nice team but haven't looked good their first 2 games. Owls are dogs by 3.5

Gotta stop the bleeding on any Drexel runs but who is our go to scorer? Who guards Williams? I really liked their PG Moore out of Archbishop Wood. Tough solid kid. Hope Hysier can keep him in check on D.

This is TEMPLE basketball.

I have watched a lot of Temple basketball. And basketball in general. And there’s something different about this team.

The biggest difference IMO is that they play as a team. Not seeing any hero ball that plagued the end of the Dunphy era and the McKie era.

Most refreshing Temple basketball I’ve watched probably since 2013.

Adam Fisher is going to be a special coach. And I’m glad he’s at Temple. He’s from the area. And if we don’t screw things up, he could coach a very very long time. We have the facilities, the sleeping giant fan base, and the history to make it happen.

After 2 games, I’m buying the stock now because in a few years they’re gonna be real good!

New verbal

Temple has received a verbal commitment from Bowie High School defensive end Sultan Badmus according to several sources familiar with his recruitment.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Badmus had offers from programs like Duke, Maryland, Army and Penn throughout his recruitment. He recently canceled a visit to Indiana.

With Badmus' verbal commitment and Dominic DeLuca's decision to decommit, Temple is at nine verbals for the 2024 class.

From the sources I've spoken with, I wouldn't expect much more than three or four more high school verbals from this class, and I would expect there to be much more of an emphasis on junior college and transfer portal recruiting the rest of the way.

Badmus, who camped with Temple this past summer, is expected to take his official visit next month.
