I just looked up where we rank nationally in terms of Field Goal percentage over the last 4 years:
2016-2017 - 40.6% - Tied for 314th out of 351
2015-2016 - 40.5% - Tied for 319th
2014-2015 - 38.4% - ranked 341st
2013-2014 - 42.8% - Tied for 252nd, but we were sooooo bad that these stats were clearly inflated during the extended garbage time played against deep reserves.
Should a 2-time COY and future 1st ballot Hall--of-Fame coach have an ability to get high quality shots for his best players? And if you blame it all on the players, who is the GM who recruited them?
