A source familiar with his recruitment told me today that Aaron McKie will start the live period tomorrow in Pittsburgh specifically to watch Wildwood Catholic guard/wing Jahlil White at the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest.
The 6-foot-6 White averaged 18.6 points per game for a Wildwood Catholic team that took nationally-ranked Ranney to overtime in the NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public B final before losing, 54-50.
White's current offers are mostly from mid-majors like Drexel and Bowling Green, but he's already enjoying a good April AAU season with NJ Shoreshots and is likely on pace to see his recruitment really pick up this summer heading into the July live period.
He is a class of 2020 priority for McKie and Temple, along with his teammate, Taj Thweatt.
