Maury HS (Virginia) DT Darian Varner announced his commitment to Temple today over offers from East Carolina, Kent State, James Madison and others.
Varner was an All-District selection last year after he had 20 TFL last year for a 12-2 Maury team that got to the state semifinals. Varner recently weighed in at a confirmed 250 pounds at a regional The Opening combine and likely projects as a nose guard after he adds on some more weight.
