I was at an event last night and ran into the head coach of Cardinal O'Hara. He previously coached at Tenn-Chattanooga. He spoke very highly of Rhule, Snow and Shatterfield. He noted that many area coaches are regulars on campus and feel welcome around the TU staff. He underscored our collective belief that the reputation of Temple Football is vastly improved nationally and is improving rapidly in the local market. He specifically mentioned the family atmosphere around the team which is a major recruiting focal point. He shared my belief that an on campus stadium will soon be announced and will be viewed more favorably by recruits than playing at a half full nfl stadium. He was a good guy and noted that the staff feels very confident heading into this season and is expecting big things on defense. We have come a long way from the Bobby Wallace days and I expect the brightest days lie ahead.
