The 6-7 sophomore had a pretty good game tonight.
He made some timely shots, ran the floor well and defended well.
He had 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist. Not too shabby.
I just wish there was a way to get Justyn Hamilton more time, although I’m sure the coaching staff knows what it’s doing. He is skinny, but he has natural shot-blocking skills, he can rebound, he can run the floor like a gazelle. I just hate for him to burn his sophomore season without getting minutes.
I understand the redshirt issue, and how some kids don’t want to RS, but this Hamilton kid is the perfect RS candidate. He’s not going to play ahead Ernest and Moore, so why waste another year of eligibility?
