Would he be a fit for Temple assuming IU let's him go?

He's a brand name coach that has already had success in the NCAAs.
Despite our pedigree and history, I don't think we could draw a decent and established coach from another program, so this may be the rare opportunity to get one. Otherwise, we'll have to go with a younger person looking to build something.
I think Temple could be attractive to Crean. Temple and Crean both have good history, but brands that need rebuilding. I think we could keep the current recruits, and draw more talent.
This is wishful thinking, but I would love to see it happen. That said, I fully expect FD to be on the sidelines next season.
