Per a source close to the Connecticut basketball program, OwlScoop.com has learned that Dwayne Killings is set to resign from Fran Dunphy's program in order to join Kevin Ollie's staff.
Killings was Temple's Director of Basketball Operations from 2006-09 before leaving to spend a year with the NBA D-League and a year with Boston University. Killings returned to Temple in June 2011 and has spent the last five seasons establishing himself as Temple's best recruiter.
This is obviously a pretty big loss for Temple's program. We'll have more as this develops, including potential replacements for Killings' spot on the bench.
