No speculation please. Trying to really grasp this situation.
JDC, any light you can shed? Do you think there is actually a chance Dunphy is out as HC by the end of this week (assuming we lose to Penn State thurs night).
I'm a firm believer that where there is smoke, there is fire. This time feels different with Dunphy. It's not just the super loyal fans talking, i.e. the people on this message board. There is some buzz in the local press, and the protect Dunphy facade is showing some cracks. (By protect Dunphy facade I'm talking the internal boys club in Athletics that has protected him like Larry Doc, who took the time to send me a Facebook message saying I should lay off Dunphy).
Marc Narducci all but wrote the other day that Temple is stuck with Dunphy and needs to replace him, but may not want to take the PR hit. I think the bigger PR hit at this point is not acting, and people wondering why the heck they are keeping him around.
