I have been saying this since his freshman year and maybe his first three or four games . Everything is a fast ball and not all passes need to be thrown that way . He has a lot of interceptions in his career with tipped balls off his receivers and many of them could have been thrown with slightly less velocity . He is now a senior and it is exactly the same problem it was three years ago . He has problems with passes over the middle and almost never has the flight that is correct on the long patterns .
In short , without anything but the fast ball then he is destined to be at best a 55 percent pass percentage and will have spotty play each game because this flaw ruins long drives and
especially on third down coversions .
