During the 20-minute portion of practice open to reporters, redshirt freshman running back Tyliek Raynor broke out for a 30-yard touchdown run. Raynor looked to have the same burst he had prior to injuring his foot in December of his senior season at Imhotep.
Sophomore middle linebacker Shaun Bradley continued to stand out. The Rancocas Valley (N.J.) High School product came away with an interception of Anthony Russo. Redshirt sophomore tight end Jake Robinson dropped Russo's pass and the ball went right into the hands of Bradley. While junior Jared Folks has been sidelined due to injury, Bradley has looked like a potential starter at the MIKE linebacker spot.
And redshirt junior receiver Ventell Bryant was working with trainers on the sideline while practice was open to reporters. Bryant was in full uniform.
