Temple hosted Naseir Upshur, a tight end transfer from Florida State by way of Philadelphia’s Imhotep Charter, at its spring practice session Thursday morning at Edberg-Olson Hall.
While Upshur has yet to commit to the Owls, a source close to him told OwlScoop that he’ll likely end up finishing up his last season of college eligibility back home in North Philly.
Upshur, a former Under Armour All American who previously held over 50 D-1 offers, was joined on his visit by multiple Imhotep coaches.
A 6-foot-2, 235-pounder, Upshur grabbed four catches for 53 yards in eight games last season. He did not register any receptions in his first two seasons with the Seminoles.
