Per a source, Temple is currently hosting two 2019 junior college prospects on official visits. Joseph Hooper, a 6-foot-2, 295-pound guard from Butler Community College and Adam Barry, a 6-foot-6, 210-pound punter from Independence Community College are currently on official visits to Temple. Neither Barry nor Hooper has received an offer from Temple yet, as far as I can tell, but Rod Carey and his staff are hosting the duo on campus this weekend.
Hooper is a Hawaii native and spent 2017 at Reedley Junior College in California before transferring to Butler last season. While at Butler, Hooper played at left guard for an 8-4 Butler team. Hooper has an offer from Henderson State and has recently picked up late interest from Colorado, BYU and Temple.
Barry, meanwhile, was a qualifier out of high school and went to Last Chance U this season. While there, Barry averaged 37.4 yards per punt and had a 72-yarder in a September loss to Hutchinson, the longest punt in the NJCAA last season. Barry has a preferred walk-on offer from Nevada.
