Passing offense: 73rd, 227.5 ypg (median is 232.1)
Rushing offense: 71st, 169.3 ypg (median is 173.7)
Total offense: 76th, 396.8 ypg (median is 414.55)

Basically, we're about a completion and a run a game from being average on offense.
We're tied with Navy for 33rd in PPG at 33.8, which is 5th in the AAC.

3rd down conversion percentage is still a big issue.

RZ offense has been good, ranking 35th at 89.5%, although our RZ TD% is only ~58%. This needs to be at 70%+. There are some good teams like Utah, Clemson, and Wisconsin who also struggle to score TDs in the RZ too.

Passing defense: 10th, 169.3 ypg (median is 225.15)
Rushing defense: 56th, 151.8 ypg (median is 159)
Total defense: 17th, 321 ypg (median is 405.55)

Interestingly, even though Charlotte and USF really shredded our run D, outside of the Army game, our run D is only allowing just under 126.5 rushing yards per game, which would be top 30 in the country. Our Total D would jump to 8th in the country.

We're also tied with whatever number of teams for 6th in the country in fewest passing TDs allowed at 8. 22 total TDs allowed is a little bit better than average. 14 rushing TDs allowed hurts us there.

3rd down conversion percentage on defense is 31%, which is 16th in the country.

RZ defense is tied with Clemson and Iowa for 10th in the country at 69.6%. Our RZD TD% is 52%. Interesting for the game this week, Cincy's RZD TD% is phenomenal.

Basic conclusion is that despite all the injuries and inexperience, our defense has been fantastic, while our offense has been about average. We've been balanced offensively, which is generally not bad, but the problem is we haven't been especially great at either passing or running.
