Long time MBB season ticket holder. I was at the Friday's DH and the elite 8 yesterday. Two major takeaways for me was that TU's MBB team sorely lacks: Passion and Foul Shooting.
This is simplistic but all four teams crashed the boards and dived for each loose ball. After watching TU shoot fouls for these past many years, I was amazed at how good each team shoot their foul shots. Looking on line at the box scores only confirmed what I saw. Foul shooting percentage was around 80%.
I understand the lack of passion---no further comment, but I would like to know if we even practice foul shooting because we are awful at this part of the game. Games can be won/loss due to foul shooting.
