Temple defensive backs coach Cory Robinson was at Timber Creek High School in South Jersey on Wednesday, according to a source close to the situation.

Robinson came to North Philadelphia after spending time in the Baltimore area as a high school football coach. He also served as the secondary coach with Toledo last season. Through those coaching stints, Robinson developed some ties to Timber Creek.

By stopping in at Timber Creek, Robinson checked in on multiple Division-1 prospects, including 2018 defensive back Deion Jennings, the younger brother of Temple senior receiver Adonis Jennings. 2018 quarterback and North Carolina State commit Devin Leary also plays for the Chargers.

During Matt Rhule's tenure at Temple, the Owls had strong success recruiting out of Timber Creek with former defensive backs coach Francis Brown, who followed Rhule to Baylor. Redshirt sophomore defensive back and former four-star recruit Kareem Ali, redshirt senior defensive tackle Greg Webb and Adonis Jennings are all products of Rob Hinson's program.
