Fran Brown has agreed to stay on Rod Carey’s staff at Temple, sources told OwlScoop.
Brown’s title will be co-defensive coordinator, as was the plan when Manny Diaz plucked him away from Baylor. He will also coach the cornerbacks.
Brown has already made an impact in recruiting, as he landed two commits as well as Baylor cornerback transfer Harrison Hand, who has arrived on campus and enrolled in classes at Temple.
Brown received interest from multiple Power 5 programs after Diaz bolted back to Miami, but ultimately worked out a resolusition with Temple to keep him in Philadelphia.
