There were 13 passes in the first half that were at the boundary or fade routes with no opportunity for success. Additionally, we kept trying to run outside to no avail.
It was clear early that we needed to exploit the seams in the defensive secondary with Cincy's one safety secondary. Even when they went to two safeties, they were giving us the middle of the field.
We finally threw into the middle in the 4th quarter with great success only to move away from it and stall.
It was not until the OT that we actually threw into the seams and won the game.
I have had enough of Patenaude. I know youth coaches who could have recognized what was needed before this guy.
I hope that Collins understands that his OC is out of step with the rest of the program and figures out a way to upgrade by next season.
