By the end of the day today, the Temple football program should be celebrating its Fourth of July with six new verbal commitments that would bring its 2019 class to 20.

As I mentioned in my story, Temple will not be taking a commitment from Florida running back Kelvin Dean today. If I had to take an educated guess, I'd say his non-committal commitment preview tweet the other day didn't help his case. He could end up at Appalachian State instead.
