As I searched scores after this staff and TUBB came up very small last night, it was interesting to see how other programs responded to opportunities presented to them. Whether it be woeful SJU in crappy Carnesecca stopping their 16 game winless streak, cellar dwelling PSUBB defeating No.4/6 Iowa in the sticks or little SJU taking out No. 15 Dayton at that bandbox they call an arena, each one seized the home moment in one way or another. While none of these have a direct impact on the direction of TUBB (save for maybe the Hawks and getting an NCAA bid over TU this year), it was a bit sobering yesterday considering that weak-ass Temple showing.

Luckily the captain of this ship won't need to be "nervous" anymore this season as the LC can return to the quiet, half-empty, unemotional confines he seems much more comfortable working within. Although come to think of it, Hooter's b-day game could give him some agita. Adthomas said it the best, but it bears repeating, "small time", now and for the foreseeable future.

TU.
