This Temple team is sometimes very hard to watch with balls clanking of the rim and seeing halves where they shoot 20% . It is very ugly . It clearly reminds me of some of the John Chaney teams [ in fact most of the John Chaney teams ] that couldn't hit the ocean while standing on the waters edge . This team is resurrecting the same old Chaney like formula .
Play great defense , don't turn the ball over , shoot half decently from the line and close out games . They are doing it playing 95% of the time in a man to man and they can because they have ten playable players . Chaney did it playing 95% zone and didn't have the bench .
The games are like watching kids throwing paint at a canvas and it looks ugly but it finally turns into a Picasso . Same formula !!!
