I thought they both played their best games of the year. Russo should have had at least 300ish yards and at least 3 TDs if not for the crazy amount of near perfect thrown ball drops by the receivers. He was on fire today showing why we were exciting about him in the first place. (Thought putting Centeio in during the 2nd half was dumb.) Barry also had a good game as well, much improved.
Everything else about our Owls was pretty tough to watch so I don’t think we win even if we caught a few more but Russo and Barry definitely gave us a shot with their play. (Realistically SMU actually left about 4 scores on the field).
I think that Memphis win is gonna hold up. They looked crazy good today.
