I dont understand why this defense has struggled so mightily against the read option this year. We got burned big time on the 80 yd TD in the ND game, got beat several times vs SMU and got destroyed with it again against USF. On several occasions in each of those games I see 3-4 guys swarm and absolutely crush the RB on the play but the QB just pulls and runs with it and often times for a good gain. I am no defensive guru but I do know enough to understand that each player has different responsibilities and that at least one of them should be keying on the QB. Either this d has lacked some serious discipline in the last few weeks or the coaching staff is not doing a good enough job stressing their individual responsibilities. Paxton Lynch can destroy us there too
