Rod Carey spoke about Aaron Boumerhi's departure and also confirmed that punter Connor Bowler is transferring. Kyle reported earlier this week that Temple has picked up junior college punter Adam Barry, so something with Bowler seemed imminent.
At a position where Temple is already thin, Carey revealed some injury news when I asked about Onasis Neely and Re'Mahn Davis.
Carey said he's been pleased with the play of Temple's quarterbacks this spring, specifically starter Anthony Russo and backups Todd Centeio and Trad Beatty.
And if Saturday's media session was any indication, it seems apparent based on what Carey said that Isaiah Wright will be used a lot this season in multiple spots on the field.
