Tomorrow is the NIL information zoom call. If anyone still needs information, please email me at davidjgoldberg@icloud,.com and I will forward it to you. There is a Q and A portion. But they also asked for questions to be submitted in advance. I have submitted mine. However, should my questions not be selected., I am posting them here to get them on the record. And so that the conversation and subsequent actions to keep the TUFF Fund progressing to its (our) vital goals, will carry on.

NIL Questions:
Why is not the BOT directly involved in the NIL. Why isn’t one of the members leading this initiative?
Why are there impediments blocking us (Athletics and Alumni) from accessing the BOT?
The staffing issues and budget issues are well known and appreciated. Still, what resources can Athletics provide to promote and assist the NIL, (in our case, this is the TUFF Fund. Going forward, this is how we will refer to NIL at Temple)?
There are Temple coaches that understand the vital importance of the TUFF Fund and are vehement in their desire to participate in its promotion. In its very survival. Why are there notany coaches on this panel?
Why isn’t Athletic Director Arthur Johnson not on this vital panel?
Why isn’t their any student athlete on this panel?
How much research has Athletics and/or the BOT done to discover best practices for promoting and working with NILs. Have they looked at other schools? Have they reached out to other athletic departments?
Athletics can’t survive without the success of the TUFF Fund. Period. Full stop. Is Athletics aware of this crucial fact? Is the BOT? If not, why?
Why is development actively working against the TUFF Fund? Why is not development working with the TUFF Fund in promoting how vastly different the fund raising goals are? It is not a “rob Peter to pay Paul” situation.
Does the BOT realize how much disastrous peril Athletics at Temple is in currently? Does the BOT realize the the TUFF FUND is a necessary evil for athletics at Temple to SURVIVE?
Is the BOT aware that the directors of the TUFF Fund operate it a severe personal expense?
The only way the TUFF Fund is successful, the only way athletics at Temple survives, is for all of us to work together.
So, I ask, the BOT (and for the purpose of this call, Athletics), what do you want athletics at Temple to be?
In short:
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
