We've been able to confirm through multiple sources that Adam Fisher and his staff are expected to add Houston Christian (formerly Houston Baptist) transfer forward Sam Hofman.
Hofman, a native of Brussels, Belgium, played for the Belgium U-18 and U-20 national teams before playing at Salt Lake Community College and then Houston Christian. He averaged 6.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this past season and has shot 38 percent from three-point range (73 of 190) in his two seasons at HCU.
At 6-foot-5 and 279 pounds, he's certainly an intriguing addition to the Owls' roster. He'll have one season of eligibility remaining.
