I'm looking for a recommendation for a golf course in the VA Beach area for a trip I'm making in mid-August.
I'll be heading from Philly suburbs to the Outerbanks in North Carolina. My plan is to stop and play Baywood Greens in Rehoboth, DE or one of the Ocean City, Maryland courses, stay overnight near Ocean City or maybe Cape Charles, then hit another course the next morning before driving the rest of the way to OBX.
I'll be crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel so thinking a course in the VA Beach area would be a good spot. I've previously played at Bay Creek Golf Club on the Maryland side but that's a bit rich for the way I'm playing right not. lol
Any suggestions for something that is nice, reasonably affordable, and not too far off the route I'd be taking to the Outerbanks?
