I watched the Swedish kid's HUDL video, and I'm very impressed,
Obviously, the competition isn't what Anderrson would face if he was at a high school in the U.S., but the kid, who is listed at 6-5, 295, looks like he has the potential to be a mauler. He has a real nasty streak. Pancakes defensive linemen in every clip, driving them into the ground with a take-no-prisoners attitude.
According to his profile, Anderrson runs a 5.3 40, benches 330 pounds and squats 550 pounds.
He could be a real find. Or a bust. But I have a lot of faith in Coach Collins and Coach Wiesehan.
I also watched video of Isaac Moore, the other verbal OL from Sweden, and he, too, has the potential to be a mauler, but he needs to hit the weightroom and get stronger, IMO. He's listed at 6-6, 300 on the HUDL profile.
These Swedish kids may be projects, but what does Coach Collins have to lose? They are big, athletic kids who have a lot of potential.
