On a positive note, a good new coach will be able to bring Temple BB back in 3 to 4 years. It has taken Dunphy many years to turn this into a second rate program. And as Fran himself said, "this is the hand I was dealt." The horrible recruiting, poor development of big men, inflexibility, etc., have all been thrust upon him. You have to feel sorry for the guy. I'm sure he feels guilty for taking the millions of dollars the university is paying him. And who among us would trade his COY for a better basketball team? I no longer go to the games to watch winning basketball, I go to watch Dunphy sip water. There is no better sipping coach in all Division I basketball.
