Temple has started to recruit 2017 JUCO linebacker Will McKenzie of Erie Community College (PA).
Linebackers coach Andrew Thacker has reached out to McKenzie.
McKenzie told OwlScoop.com that Thacker said Temple is looking to bring in another linebackers for the class of 2017. The Owls tried to flip Grand Street Campus (NY) linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi, who ultimately stayed committed Rutgers and signed with the Scarlet Knights.
McKenzie has an unofficial visit to Utah State lined up for April. He also plans to check out Division-II Tuskegee University.
