2019 linebacker Yvandy Rigby committed to Temple after camp today. Rigby was a 2018 graduate of Egg Harbor Township but will do a semester at the Milford Academy in New York prior to enrolling at Temple in January.
Last season, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Rigby had 57 tackles, 12.5 TFL and four sacks for Egg Harbor Township. Rigby also had 147 receiving yards on offense.
Rigby's story is an interesting one, as he grew up in Haiti and Turks and Caicos before coming to the states a few years ago. At one point, Rigby was homeless for a short period of time and suffered through an undiagnosed learning disorder before getting everything on the right track.
