Sammis Reyes, a 6-foot-7 forward and junior college recruit at Palm Beach State College, told OwlScoop today that he plans to visit Temple June 1 after the dead period. Most recently, he visited Tennessee-Chattanooga, and he's on an official visit at Tulane now.
Reyes originally signed with and went to Hawaii out of high school but opted to transfer after the coach who recruited him, Gib Arnold, was fired and after suffering hand and toe injuries. He opted to return home to Florida and play JUCO ball in the hopes of getting re-recruited. He then tore his ACL but seems to be recovered from that.
Reyes is also a member of the Chilean national team.
